Experience

Our project and professional experience covers much of the globe and a wide range within our focus industries of telecomtechnology andenergy.    We've worked in practically every country in Europe, all across North America and much of South America, several countries in the Arab world and across much of South and South-East Asia.

We have got experience in almost every aspect of fixed and mobile operations, from long term fixed-line network strategy development to sales and customer support processes in mobile operator launches, support of new network rollouts, mass-market marketing strategies and product development.
Our staff have worked in operators and in vendors and several have worked in both.

Our experience in this area is mostly in facing the challenges for both new and established companies that are trying to bring new technologies to market.
We have experience in Intellectual Property strategy, market launch strategies, product and offer development and internal integration projects, for example integrating R&D with marketing.
We focus on electronics and software and although we have not worked extensively in industries like biotech or pharma, we believe that many of our skills and experience are directly applicable.

The energy industry covers a huge range - even wider than telecom - and we won't claim to cover it all.  We have basically no experience in refining and none in petroleum product retailing.  Other than that we cover onshore and offshore E&P, utility deregulation, renewables and the potential impact of Kyoto on industry - at least in the countries where it will apply.
Our support in these areas ranges from business case analysis, market entry strategy, business process optimization, internal and investor communication, strategic response to new market dynamics right across to HR strategy.
We have found a lot of cross-fertilization between our energy and telecom practices, particularly as the energy industry deregulates and organizations need to transform to face new realities.

We're not really pursuing work outside our focus areas but we can usually help more than we expect to. This is particularly true where the client has the kind of complex problem that requires a really multi-disciplined approach and wants to use their long industry expertise alongside our fresh outside view. We've surprised ourselves once or twice. Also, if it's a project that will allow us to claim significant experience in a new industry or sector the client often gets a particularly economical proposal.
